Sinisterra sends message as Rangers confirm latest summer transfer

Rangers have been busy all summer attempting to strengthen their squad in the transfer window.

The arrivals of both Kevin Thelwell and Russell Martin now mean that signings can be made.

Rangers have already added Lyall Cameron to their squad as they look to challenge for the title this season.

However, Martin isn’t set to stop there this summer.

Luis Sinisterra and Justin Kluivert react to Max Aarons transfer

Max Aarons had a medical on Tuesday ahead of his proposed move to Rangers.

Thankfully, the full-back passed that, and the Glaswegians announced the signing of the 25-year-old on Wednesday (25 June).

The full-back was once seen as one of England’s best upcoming players when he shone in the Championship at Norwich City.

As a result, the 25-year-old moved to Bournemouth in 2023, but things have not worked out at the Cherries in the Premier League.

Now, Aarons will be looking to rekindle his form at the Ibrox, where he will stay until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Aarons was quick to take to Instagram (25 June) to discuss his excitement at moving to the Scottish Premiership

He posted a picture of himself posing with a Rangers shirt with the caption: “Honoured to be here at this huge club. A massive season ahead and I can’t wait to see you at Ibrox. Let’s go!”

Bournemouth duo Luis Sinisterra and Justin Kluivert were quick to react to the signing, with both commenting on his Instagram post.

Kluivert put: “Congrats my G,” with a flaming heart emoji.

On top of this, Sinisterra put a flame and a praising hands emoji.

Aarons adds a wealth of experience to Martin’s squad

Despite being just 25 years old, Aarons has plenty of experience that could be vital for Rangers this season.

In the back half of the 2024/25 campaign, the full-back was part of the Valencia side that avoided relegation from La Liga.

The 25-year-old has also played in the Premier League for Norwich City and Bournemouth, making the loan deal a coup for Rangers.

Now, the task for Martin is to help Aarons recover his form that he showed back at the Canaries a few seasons ago.
