Rangers details emerges as Cyriel Dessers profit on cards after exit news – Exclusive
Rangers have some key decisions to make in the summer window as they prepare for a new dawn under Russell Martin.
The Gers have an impending Champions League tie with Panathinaikos, with substantial money riding on their progression.
Rangers are set to seal their second signing in Max Aarons, who is poised to arrive at Ibrox on loan from AFC Bournemouth, following Lyall Cameron through the door.
However, Cyriel Dessers could be about to leave Glasgow after news of a bid for the 30-year-old striker.

Rangers looking to make profit on Dessers as Ibrox exit looms
AEK Athens have already had a bid for Dessers rejected, but they are primed to pounce with a follow-up.
The Nigerian has cast a divisive figure in Glasgow, despite finishing last season as the top goalscorer and Golden Boot winner in the Scottish Premiership.
With news of a potential exit, football finance expert Dan Plumley has weighed in on the deal, as Rangers look to bank profit on the £4.5million they spent.
“Yes, I think you’re absolutely right on taking into account the behind-the-scenes stuff,” he exclusively told Ibrox News when asked if making a profit on Dessers was good business for Rangers.
“It’s not as easy as just looking at the transfer fee you bought the player for, and what you’re selling for, because you’ve got the amortisation fee and the wage costs.
“You’ve got the expense behind the scenes, and that figure was undisclosed at the time, but rumoured to be £4.5million.
“He signed a four-year contract, and we’re two years into that, so you’ve got the amortisation aspect, and the net value of him then falls somewhere in the £2million plus mark.
“His wages need to be factored in, and we don’t know exactly the individual wages for him, but that has to be factored into what you would class as the net gain from a transfer fee.
“If you’ve bought that player at 28 years old, for £4.5million on a four-year deal, and two years on, you’re looking to recoup £5million for a 30-year-old, that feels like a good deal in the context of the market.
“The point there is absolutely spot on around any incomings this season at Rangers, and given where the club’s going and the Champions League, we were likely to see outgoings too.
“It wasn’t just going to be an open the chequebook and spend loads of money type approach.”

Gers must now make crucial decision on Dessers
With news of another bid, it seems that the ball is in Rangers’ court regarding Dessers.
The forward bagged 29 goals in all competitions last campaign and was a leading performer in Glasgow.
However, with Martin now at the helm, he may have kicked his last football for the Scottish Premiership outfit.
