Rangers want Beck transfer now with ‘Wrexham to be blown out of water’ at Liverpool
Rangers could now beat Wrexham to the signing of Owen Beck.
The Gers are looking to be active in the transfer window as Russell Martin looks to put his own stamp on the squad since taking over as head coach in Govan.
This could look to kickstart with the signing of the 22-year-old left-back who looks to be available to leave in the summer.
If the Gers are to land the signing of the Wales under-21 international, they will need to beat Championship outfit Wrexham to the punch.

Rangers to beat Wrexham to Beck signing
After such a frustrating campaign last time around, the Light Blues are in need of reinforcements coming into the new campaign.
This is especially the case in the backline with both Leon Balogun leaving at the end of his contract, while Neraysho Kasanwirjo’s loan has now finished.
As a result, bringing in fresh faces in the backline could prove to be a wise move, with permanent deals making the most sense for the G51 clubs.
A move for Beck at Liverpool has already been mooted, with Arne Slot’s side keen on the Welshman signing a new deal and going out on loan.
Now, DaveOCKOP has reported via X (24 June) that the Gers want to sign the defender permanently from Anfield this summer.
This is while the Reds continue discussions over a new deal, with Wrexham showing an interest in signing the ex-Blackburn Rovers loanee on a temporary basis.
With the Championship side showing an interest, Rangers could make that irrelevant by tabling a transfer bid that Liverpool will struggle to turn down.
Beck could join Rangers permanently from Liverpool
There have been strong links in recent months suggesting that Ridvan Yilmaz could be on his way out of G51 in the near future.
This could leave a hole in the squad, which would certainly need filling, and Beck could prove to be an ideal option for the Bears.
The 22-year-old has positive experience in Scottish football already with Dundee and has also made over 30 appearances in the EFL.
Stat | Blackburn Rovers | Dundee | Bolton Wanderers |
Appearances | 25 | 28 | 9 |
Goals | 1 | 2 | 0 |
Assists | 0 | 4 | 0 |
If the Gers can agree on a permanent deal for the defender, they could land an excellent young option ahead of an attractive prospect like Wrexham and prove themselves as a positive landing destination.
