Rangers star Nicolas Raskin sends three-word message as upsetting exit confirmed
Nicolas Raskin’s future at Rangers is uncertain after the midfielder shone at Ibrox in the 2024/25 campaign.
Despite the Gers’ poor season, the Belgian international was a bright spark and he often dominated games in the midfield.
Raskin was regularly praised by the media for his performances at Rangers as they finished second in the Scottish Premiership.
As a result, Raskin is linked away from Rangers, with the transfer window now open.

Raskin responds as Ricardo Carvalho announces Standard Liege exit
Outside of Ibrox, there are multiple other exits happening across Europe.
On top of players, staff are also leaving their roles at their clubs before the new 2025/26 campaign.
This happened to the Gers recently as Issame Charai left the Rangers last week.
Now, Ricardo Carvalho has left Standard Liege, with the player liaison officer having been at the Belgian side for 16 years.
Raskin would have known Carvalho when he was at Liege between 2019 and 2023, when he then joined Rangers.
As a result, the midfielder responded to the coach’s Instagram announcement (18 June), commenting: “The real boss,” with a love heart.
Others also responded to Carvalho’s post about leaving the Belgian side, with many being upset about the exit.
One comment said: “I’m going to miss you so much,” with a crying and a heart emoji.
Another user also put: “Thank you for everything Ricardo. Proud to have seen you,” with multiple crying and fire emojis.
Raskin’s Rangers future needs to be sorted quickly
While it is a positive that Raskin is still a Rangers player, the longer this saga remains unresolved, the worse the situation.
The midfielder could easily leave Ibrox late in the transfer window and leave Russell Martin scrambling to find a replacement.
This must simply not happen as it could derail the start of Rangers’ 2025/26 campaign.

Hopefully, in the next two weeks, Raskin either signs a new contract or departs Ibrox.
This way, Martin will either be certain of the midfielder’s future, or he will have time to find a replacement before the start of the new season.
