Dundee spokesman reacts as ‘Mulligan undergoes Rangers medical’
Rangers looked destined to sign Josh Mulligan after undergoing a medical in Govan.
The Gers have been linked with adding a second Dundee talent to their roster this summer after the free transfer of Lyall Cameron.
With the 22-year-old also out of contract this summer, there has been links with a move to Ibrox and other sides in England.
An agreement is yet to be reached, despite a medical being in the pipeline in G51, as a representative spoke out ahead of a potential move in the coming weeks.

Dundee reaction emerges after Mulligan to Rangers links
With the introduction of the US Consortium led by Andrew Cavenagh and the 49ers, there was always likely to be a change in transfer tactics.
This could be set to see the Light Blues bring in the best in class from elsewhere in the Scottish Premiership to help bolster their ranks.
The signings of Cameron and Connor Barron have pointed towards this being possible in the current and upcoming transfer windows.
This could continue with the addition of versatile midfielder Mulligan this summer as his contract ticks down at Dens Park.
Reports had emerged that the Gers were closing in on an £1million deal for Scot with a medical already underway [Ibrox Noise, 11 June].
This may not be the case, however, after the Glasgow Times reported (19 June) an update from a direct spokesperson before the end of the midfielder’s contract.
They said: “Dundee have revealed that Josh Mulligan could stay next season despite transfer interest from Rangers.”

Mulligan deal could be off at Rangers
As it stands, the Govan club do have positive midfield options, but could still add the Scotland under-21 international to their ranks.
The Dark Blues’ number eight had a positive season and could certainly represent positive depth under Martin moving into the new campaign.
Stat (Scottish Premiership 24/25) | Josh Mulligan |
Appearances | 34 |
Assists | 5 |
Accurate passes | 622 |
Completed dribbles | 32 |
Duels won | 176 |
Mulligan could certainly represent a useful asset if Nico Raskin were to depart, amid links to Aston Villa in the early stages of the window.
As it stands, it is unclear whether the midfielder will be on the way out of Dundee or not, but the Gers should now push to convince him of a move this summer.
