Rangers transfer round-up: Aarons deal ‘sealed’ as Dessers exit twist emerges
Rangers are set to be busy until the end of the transfer window, with Russell Martin eyeing new signings.
With new owners in charge, this is expected to be a summer of change at Ibrox.
Thus far, Gers have not finalised any first-team signings but are aiming to do so in the coming weeks.
Given everything going on in the media, Ibrox News has prepared a transfer round-up of the top stories.

Harry Darling seals Norwich City transfer
Harry Darling was wanted by Rangers as his contract at Swansea was set to expire at the end of June.
However, Norwich City beat Gers, Birmingham and Sheffield United to sign the 25-year-old centre-back.
The Carrow Road outfit announced the deal on 16 June and he will officially move to Norfolk on 1 July.

Gary Keown urges Rangers to sell Cyriel Dessers
Cyriel Dessers appears to be linked with an Ibrox exit each time the transfer window opens.
Despite a relatively impressive stint at the club in terms of his goal-scoring numbers, the Nigeria international has divided opinion.
Martin is expected to allow Dessers to leave permanently amid interest from different European leagues.
Scottish Daily Mail’s Gary Keown has urged the Ibrox outfit to cash in on the 30-year-old.
He wrote: “That Dessers should be sold is a no-brainer. Be sure, 51 goals from 109 outings over two seasons is not to be sniffed at. It is a very good return. Without going over old ground, though, this is simply not a guy you can have as your main man up front. The eyes tell you that, even if the statistics don’t.”

Harry Toffolo may emerge as a transfer target
Daily Record journalist Scott McDermott suggested Nottingham Forest defender Harry Toffolo may emerge as a transfer target.
He admitted that the left-back would be a solid addition for Rangers, noting that Martin is familiar with him from their time together at Norwich, where the player emerged as a youth prospect.

McDermott highlighted that the left-back featured late last season and could suit Rangers’ needs as a viable option at the position.
He said: “He’s a left-back who’s finished his contract at Forest, they’ve let him go, so he’s a free agent.
“I thought for Rangers, he’d constitute a decent signing for them. Martin knows him, I think I’m right in saying he was a kid coming through at Norwich while Martin was there.
“He actually did come in towards the end of last season. He’d be a good fit for someone. I thought Rangers might look at him as a left-back option.”

Rangers reach verbal agreement to sign Max Aarons
Gers have made progress to finalise their first signing of the transfer window.
Rangers have reached a verbal agreement to sign Bournemouth right-back Max Aarons on a season-long loan deal.
Spanish journalist Matthew Moretto claims that the deal is nearly finalised and should be completed soon.
