Rangers ‘to take Lennon Miller gamble at Ibrox’ after £8m transfer claim
Rangers could potentially sign one of the hottest Scottish Premiership prospects in Lennon Miller this summer transfer window.
The Motherwell star has been linked with a move to Ibrox after establishing himself as a pivotal player at Fir Park this season.
Russell Martin could lose Nico Raskin in the coming weeks, with several teams interested in the Belgium international.
The Steelmen’s 18-year-old midfielder may be a brilliant signing for the Gers, and they shouldn’t be concerned about his price tag.

Miller worth £8m as Rangers transfer to pan out
Miller is a calculated gamble that will pay off if the Gers sign him, Graeme Young says.
The Daily Record journalist believes that the 18-year-old could potentially cost upwards of £8million if a transfer battle ensues for him.
Young feels that even if interested clubs end up paying relatively over the top for the Scotland international, the transfer will eventually pan out.

Speaking on Game On (13 June), when asked whether Celtic or the Bears should stump up for the Motherwell prospect, the journalist said: “Yes, this is the easiest question ever asked. A player of such high quality.
“I think if it becomes a fight, it could go upwards of £8m. I think if you ended up paying £8m for Miller, it’s a calculated gamble where he’s a player of such substance that there’s no way this wouldn’t pan out for him.”
Martin should demand Miller transfer at Ibrox
Martin has a tough task on his hands at Ibrox, with a lot of work to be arguably done for the Gers to catch up to their Old Firm rivals.
Andrew Cavengh and 49ers Enterprises could invest £20million in the Light Blues this summer transfer window, but more money will undoubtedly be needed.
The Bears arguably need a major squad overhaul in the coming months to build a team capable of competing with Celtic.
While Rangers have shown they can beat Brendan Rodgers’ team and Fenerbahce in one-off games, inconsistency against relatively weaker oppositions this season was a cause for concern.
The Gers put in some eye-catching displays under Barry Ferguson in Europe, but the same set of players had issues in the Scottish Premiership.
Martin will be expected to be an instant success at Ibrox, but the ex-Southampton boss should be given the right tools for it, with several areas on the pitch needing reinforcements.
Miller is in high demand right now, and his signing would arguably be a significant coup for the Glaswegian outfit, but it remains to be seen whether they can pull it off.
