Rangers pencil in friendly with Ligue 1 club as date and kick-off time set
Rangers have been enjoying a busy summer to say the least.
With the takeover completed and new manager Russell Martin appointed, Gers fans will be hoping that improvements to the squad can begin to be made ahead of the new Scottish Premiership season.
The Ibrox club finished a long way behind their bitter rivals Celtic last season, and the goal will be to knock them off their perch next season.

Rangers add to their pre-season schedule
Rangers had already arranged a couple of pre-season fixtures before the appointment of Russell Martin on Thursday (5 June).
Their schedule includes two home fixtures against Club Brugge on 6 July and Middlesbrough on 26 July.
However, it has now been reported by French outlet L’Independant (8 June) that Martin and his players will travel to France for a fixture against Toulouse.
The game will be played at 6pm on 18 July at Stade St-Michel in Perpignan, which is on the Mediterranean coast of France, just over 200 kilometres away from Toulouse.
It’s not yet known whether the Gers will play more games in France.

Rangers fans will hope to see some new stars in action during pre-season
Most Rangers fans are full of optimism following the takeover of their club.
Some aren’t convinced that Martin was the correct managerial appointment, but the general sentiment is that they’ll have a much better chance of catching up to Celtic next season.
They will need a decent influx of new players to reach that goal though. After all, they did finish a full 17 points behind Celtic this season.

2. Rangers | 38 | +39 | 75 |
The US owners have pledged to give their new manager a transfer war chest worth at least £20million, and he’ll be expected to spend it wisely.
A trip to the French Mediterranean is certainly a glamorous pre-season friendly for the Gers fans. Those who make the trip would certainly enjoy it more if there some exciting new names in the Rangers line-up by the time the fixture rolls around.
Conor Coady and Dor Turgeman are among the names linked with a move to Ibrox already, but supporters will want to hear news of confirmed signings by July.
