Ross McCausland wanted in MLS as permanent Rangers transfer ready
Ross McCausland is facing an uncertain future at Rangers.
The Northern Ireland international hit a roadblock in his development at Ibrox last season, failing under both Philippe Clement and Barry Ferguson.
That became obvious at Pittodrie, when collecting two silly yellow cards to be sent off before Ianis Hagi and Hamza Igamane rescued an unlikely point in a 2-2 draw.
With the summer transfer window now open, that could be one of his final acts in Govan.

McCausland suitors line up for new transfer
MLS side FC Cincinnati are in the queue to sign the twinkle-toed winger, according to Sky Sports and Anthony Joseph.
The broadcaster reports that FC Basel and OH Leuven are two more interested parties.
It is said that all three clubs would prefer a permanent transfer, as Russell Martin prepares to assess his squad following his appointment by the new American owners.
McCausland has two years left on his current deal at Ibrox.

Martin set to sanction big changes
Rangers have been stuck with deadwood for years now, and they haven’t helped matters.
The signings of players such as Oscar Cortes highlight the rut they are in, with loan stars such as Vaclav Cerny and Abdallah Sima coming and going as stars themselves.
McCausland has never earned himself a spot in the starting side consistently, and that is under several different managers, so he must not be doing enough at Auchenhowie during the week.
With big changes planned by the 49ers Enterprises and Andrew Cavenagh, raising further funds through players who likely won’t make a big impact is an easy win.

It’s time to start this era with the clearout that should have been done years ago, and it appears as though Rangers have been given a headstart.
McCausland isn’t good enough, and he could be the first of many to go.
