Rangers right-back to quit in huge transfer development
Rangers are set for a busy summer with a number of players parting ways with the club post the expiry of their contracts.
The San Francisco 49ers are on the brink of completing their takeover and they will have fresh ideas on how to take the club forward.
Also, a new manager is set to be appointed imminently, with Davide Ancelotti appearing to be the favourite.

Adam Devine among players to seal permanent Ibrox exits
Right-back Adam Devine, who made his Gers debut by replacing James Tavernier against Dundee United back in May 2022, will not play another game for the club.
Along with him, other players will be leaving Rangers this summer due to the expiration of their contracts.
Via their official website on 30 May, the Ibrox outfit announced that Devine, along with a number of youngsters, will be leaving.
Gers thanked all of them for their contributions and confirmed that they will be continuing their footballing journeys elsewhere.

Rangers youth recruitment expected to continue under 49ers
Under 49ers Enterprises’ ownership, Gers’ youth recruitment is poised for a data-driven overhaul, leveraging the group’s expertise from their successful management of Leeds United.
The 49ers are expected to implement a sophisticated scouting model, emphasising analytics to identify high-potential players globally, particularly from untapped markets like Africa and Eastern Europe.

To ensure the academy continues producing talent, the Ibrox outfit must invest in state-of-the-art facilities, enhance junior coaching, and maintain a clear pathway to the first team, as exemplified by past successes like Nathan Patterson.
Strategic partnerships with clubs known for youth development, coupled with the 49ers’ financial muscle, will enable Rangers to attract and nurture top prospects.
A focus on cost-effective signings and player-trading will sustain financial stability while fostering a pipeline of future stars.
