Rangers officially say goodbye to centre-mid rated highly by Philippe Clement
Rangers have confirmed that one of their midfielders will be leaving Ibrox this summer.
Now that the 49ers takeover has been confirmed, there is a lot of work to be done at Rangers to get this side back to being able to compete with Celtic domestically.
The Light Blues finished 17 points behind Brendan Rodgers’s men, and aside from a respectable Europa League run, had very little to shout home about.
However, all of that can change this summer, with a major squad overhaul expected after the Gers announced a new exit.

Cole McKinnon set for Ibrox exit
Recruitment at Ibrox is going to be crucial this summer, and with fresh investment expected from the 49ers, it should open the door for Rangers to seal some quality new arrivals.
However, in order to accommodate those new signings, the Gers have had to part ways with players, with Leon Balogun among those to have left.
Now, Rangers have announced 13 more exits ahead of the summer, with McKinnon one of them.

McKinnon spent the previous season on loan at Ayr United, where he registered one assist in 14 games, and is now expected to find a new permanent home after his Rangers exit, as confirmed via their academy account.
Rangers must turn focus to summer business
Rangers need to find a resolution to the managerial uncertainty before anything else is put into place, though once done, recruitment is going to be crucial.
The Light Blues need several new additions, and ones that will lift this side to the next level after yet another trophyless campaign in Glasgow.
Financial backing will be a must at Ibrox if the Gers are to succeed in the next campaign.
