Vaclav Cerny ‘set for another loan transfer already’ after Rangers announcement

Vaclav Cerny may already have another loan move lined up in the upcoming transfer window after an impressive season at Rangers.

The Gers signed the 27-year-old from Wolfsburg on loan, but he’s set to return to the Bundesliga outfit.

An announcement has already been made at Ibrox that Cerny will leave the Light Blues at the end of the season.

It isn’t surprising to see interest emerging in the forward ahead of next summer, considering his influential impact at the Glaswegian outfit in the current campaign.

It’s been claimed that the Czechia international’s displays at Ibrox have led to interest from the Super Lig, and his agent has been given permission to discuss potential moves.

The Bundesliga outfit expect to receive around £7.5million for the 27-year-old in the upcoming transfer window, and it remains to be seen whether Fatih Tekke’s team can secure a deal over the line.

Ibrox transfer chiefs should consider Cerny return

Cerny seemed willing to remain at Ibrox, but the new management at the Gers likely have other plans.

The Czech national stood out at the Light Blues after an underwhelming season from most players and deserved to continue at the Glaswegian outfit.

Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises could’ve shown their ambitions for the Bears by signing the 27-year-old permanently, but they’ve decided against it.

Rangers will undoubtedly need to spend a significant amount to replace Cerny in the upcoming transfer window, and it’ll be interesting to see who they sign.

The Gers must build a squad capable of competing with Celtic, and the new manager would’ve evidently benefited from the forward’s permanent transfer to Ibrox.

Kevin Thelwell has already started work behind the scenes as he’s set to be presented as the new sporting director of the Light Blues.

The outgoing Everton chief has a massive task on his hands at the Glaswegian outfit and will be immediately judged by the fans after the summer transfer business in G51.

While it would make sense for the Bears to pursue another move for Cerny, it feels unlikely.
