Lyall Cameron transfer: Rangers ‘set for major Dundee talks’ at Ibrox
Rangers could face potential complications as Lyall Cameron will move to Ibrox from Dundee in the upcoming transfer window.
The Gers have already ended their season without a trophy and will undoubtedly want to strengthen the squad for the new manager.
Cameron agreed on a pre-contract move to Ibrox next summer in the winter transfer window, and the Glaswegian outfit will have to pay the Dark Blues a compensation fee.
The Bears had issues with Aberdeen after signing Connor Barron in a similar fashion, and should look to avoid any problems this time.

Rangers to hold discussions with Dundee for Cameron transfer to avoid tribunal
Dundee and the Gers may sit down to discuss a price tag for Cameron’s transfer, Chris Jack says.
The Scottish journalist believes it would make sense for the two clubs to come to an agreement for the 22-year-old attacking midfielder’s move to Ibrox rather than the case going to a tribunal.

Jack feels the Glaswegian outfit and the Dark Blues can surely talk and figure out a deal for the Scotland Under-21 international that would suit everyone involved.
Speaking on the Rangers Review (27 May), the journalist said: “It makes sense for the clubs to find a common ground without having to go down the tribunal route. The Barron situation dragged on for quite a long time.
“I’m sure Dundee and Rangers can sit down and have a discussion and find a fee that suits all parties.”
Ibrox chiefs to focus on takeover and manager saga
Davide Ancelotti is seen as a front-runner at Ibrox to become the Gers’ next permanent head coach.
Andrew Cavengah and 49ers Enterprise are also working on their takeover of the Light Blues in the background.
A sea of change should be expected at the Glaswegian outfit soon, and fans will hope for a significant overhaul, both on and off the pitch.
Rangers have been managed poorly in recent seasons, with financial troubles and a lack of success dominating the headlines at Ibrox.
Since Steven Gerrard’s departure in 2021, the Bears have struggled to win the Scottish Premiership title, something that supporters will hope instantly changes.
The Gers must build a competitive squad under the American ownership, and while Cameron will undoubtedly provide more options in the middle of the park, quality signings are needed.
It remains to be seen how much the Light Blues will end up spending on the 22-year-old Scotsman, but more investment will evidently be needed to knock Celtic off their perch.
