Vaclav Cerny ‘medical to be waived’ amid new Rangers transfer twist
Vaclav Cerny’s injury record and fitness routines will be something that the Rangers physios will already be aware of, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that if Gers have plans to sign him permanently, they could be monitoring his fitness during the off-season.
Cerny moved to Ibrox on loan from VFL Wolfsburg but the SPFL runners-up do not have an option to buy.

Cerny medical likely to be waived
While no decision has been made on his future, Daily Record’s Keith Jackson expects Cerny to be on board with extending his stay at Ibrox.
However, he claims that the Ibrox outfit do not seem to be in a position to commit to him.
It is also unclear on what Wolfsburg’s stance is with regards to a permanent sale as they may want to see if he can contribute to the first team next season.

Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, exclusively told Ibrox News: “He has been at Rangers this past season, so the club would most likely waive his medical.
“He has been under the supervision of the medical staff and there’s nothing about his fitness that would see them not wanting to sign him permanently.
“Cerny played regularly with no major injury concerns.“

Rangers may be waiting on takeover and new manager to sign Cerny
Signing Cerny will be a major coup but Rangers are perhaps waiting for the new owners and manager to make that call.
It could be that the new manager feels that he’s not the best fit and would rather spend that money elsewhere.
Similarly, the decision makers at 49ers Enterprises could be of the view that what Wolfsburg are demanding is unreasonable.
Given how the season unfolded, it’s fair to assume that he enjoyed his time there and it remains to be seen if he returns next season, as his fitness, as explained by Dr Brar, appears to be exemplary.
