Tyrhys Dolan to give ‘serious thought’ to Rangers transfer after contract twist
Rangers are set for plenty of change at Ibrox this summer, with the 49ers Enterprises finally closing in on their takeover.
The big question on the lips of supporters is over who will be the permanent boss in Govan, with Barry Ferguson leaving upon the end of his interim period.
Once a manager is in place, the focus will then have to quickly turn to the addition of new players in the Rangers squad, to ensure the necessary strength to compete.

Tyrhys Dolan urged to consider Rangers transfer
The season may have just finished but Celtic will already be working hard when it comes to their summer transfer business, ensuring they are in good shape to push for more success in the Scottish Premiership.
Therefore, the Gers can waste no time when it comes to their own recruitment, especially with a new manager expected to be announced by the end of the week.
Tyrhys Dolan is one man who has been linked with a move to Ibrox before, and that interest has emerged again with his contract expiring next month.
The winger is currently at Blackburn Rovers, where he played regularly throughout the campaign, contributing double figures in goal involvements.

At 23-years-old, the prospective signing is exciting, and David Prutton has urged him to seriously consider an offer from the Scottish Premiership.
Speaking to Football League World (20 May), Prutton said: “I think he’s a good player, Tyrhys, always lively, always looks like he’s capable of making something happen.
“I think the frustration with them comes with falling away as and when it mattered, i.e. very early Spring which meant that at times, barring the final day just now, at times by the time it came to the last knockings they were just firmly and constantly in mid table.
“So I think, on a free, or compensation given the age of the player potentially, but when one of those two [Rangers and Celtic] come knocking, you’ve got to give it some serious thought.”

Dolan could be a Ryan Kent-like addition at Rangers
Dolan is out of contract at Blackburn this summer and, although he has been offered a new deal, he is available on a free, as things stand, which should already make him an attractive prospect.
Although the 49ers are expected to increase investment in Glasgow, PSR restrictions mean any moves must be financially sound, and the owners can’t just go all out at the first time of asking.
In addition to this, though, at a young age, Dolan is someone who can still be developed to become an even better player, either for Rangers or to be sold further down the line.
As Prutton says, the winger has to consider such options this summer and with the impending takeover at Rangers, it’s an exciting time to join the club.
Ryan Kent has proven you can make a name for yourself in Scotland, and Dolan could be the latest of a long line to move north.
