Jamie Vardy has ‘new transfer ready’ as Rangers talks revealed
Rangers have been mooted as a potential destination for Jamie Vardy.
The legendary Premier League striker revealed that he will leave Leicester when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The 38-year-old has notched nine goals and four assists in 35 matches this season and could still make an impact at Ibrox, if the Govan outfit were to sign him.

McCoist reveals Vardy talks at Rangers
Ally McCoist revealed that he had already tried to sign Vardy for the Gers when he was in charge before he joined the Foxes in 2012.
Now, the Light Blues legend believes that the Englishman already has his next move lined up and admitted that he would love to see him at Auchenhowie.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (19 May, 6:40 am), he said: “Something tells me that he has got something organised, whether it is America or another club, I think he will have something organised.
“We were in discussion yesterday, me and my Rangers mates, I would take him in two minutes at Rangers, I really would.”
Vardy would raise the standards at Rangers
The standards at Ibrox have dwindled in recent years, and Vardy would raise them right back up with his determination and ability.
The former England international would not settle for the mediocrity that has crept in under Philippe Clement and Barry Ferguson and seen the Gers fall miles behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.

Cyriel Dessers’ future is up in the air in Govan amid Greek interest in his services, and the Gers may need to make a splash in the number nine position in the summer, and the Leicester star would certainly do that, despite his advancing age.
He has plenty of experience at the very top level, winning the English top-flight with Leicester in the 2015/16 campaign and the FA Cup in the 2020/21 season and numerous individual honours.
His signing would bring vital leadership and could see the Bears close the gap to their arch-rivals, it would be a statement addition from the 49ers to start their ownership if they could bring in a player of his calibre to Scottish football.
However, right now, it is nothing more than a pipe dream and there is a long way to go before it becomes a realistic possibility to see Vardy in a Light Blues shirt.
Stranger things have happened, though, so you never know.
