Will Still drops bombshell update on future as Rangers approach made
Rangers can now step up their search for Philippe Clement’s permanent successor following the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign.
The Gers rounded off a terrible domestic campaign with a highly contentious 2-2 draw against Hibernian at Easter Road.
The ramifications from that game could be felt for a while longer yet as a result of what a Rangers employee said live on air.
Barry Ferguson has been in charge for the past couple of months but is not expected to stay on for next season.
And a major twist has now emerged involving highly rated English-Belgian coach Will Still.

Will Still rejects Rangers in next manager twist
Still announced on Saturday (17 May) that he will leave Lens this summer for personal reasons as he wants to be closer to girlfriend Emma Saunders, who has had health issues of late.
And French outlet L’Equipe reported via its online edition on Sunday (18 May) that Still’s next job will likely be in British football.
The same report adds that Still has previously been approached by Rangers, but he has already knocked back the job offer.
Southampton and Hull City, both in the English Championship next season, are also said to have approached Still.

Rangers next manager search down to five names
Davide Ancelotti remains the favourite to become the next Rangers manager, but there are still question marks as to whether he truly wants the job.
The general consensus is that Ferguson, Sean Dyche, Gary O’Neil and Sean Dyche are also under consideration.

Still’s name is a bit of a curveball, but it sounds as though he has no intention of working in Scotland.
Whoever it is the Gers appoint, hopefully an announcement is made soon so that preparations can be made ahead of the 2025-26 season.
What played out this season is simply not acceptable, and the new owners – when they are eventually in place – cannot afford to lose a single second when it comes to closing the gap on Celtic.
