Tyrhys Dolan ‘set to pass medical’ as Rangers transfer development emerges

Rangers transfer target and Blackburn Rovers winger Thrhys Dolan does not have any significant injuries on record, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that it’s also a positive that he has played fairly regularly this season, ahead of any potential transfer.

Out of 46 Championship games this season, he played in 44, was an unused substitute once and wasn’t on the matchday squad once.

Kevin Thelwell joined from Everton.

Dolan to pass medical ahead of potential Ibrox transfer

Rangers have made an approach towards securing the services of Dolan this summer.

The Herald reported on 13 May that the 23-year-old is due to leave Ewood Park, with his deal running out.

Gers have already asked questions as they look to bring in a new wide attacker in the transfer window.

Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, exclusively told Ibrox News: “No injury history on record, so wouldn’t expect that to play a part in his medical.

He’s also played fairly regularly this season, so that’s also a positive.

“The adaptation to a new league is the case for every player, but it’s easier moving in the UK than from another European league.

Rangers must look to secure Dolan’s services

Dolan’s skillset suits Rangers’ front-foot approach they’re likely to deploy under their new manager.

His ability to play across the forward line, primarily on the right, offers tactical flexibility, potentially replacing Vaclav Cerny.

The Englishman’s experience, with over 210 Championship appearances, ensures he can handle the pressure of Rangers’ title chase and European fixtures.

As a free agent this summer, his signing aligns with Gers’ need for cost-effective additions amid a potential takeover, requiring only minimal compensation.

Dolan’s improving end product and work rate make him a fan-friendly fit for Ibrox, where he could develop into a key player, boosting Rangers’ bid to reclaim domestic dominance and compete in Europe.
