Sir Alex Ferguson spotted at New Edmiston House after Rangers manager developments
Sir Alex Ferguson has been spotted at Rangers as manager talks continue at Ibrox.
The Gers have been in search of a new head coach for many months, with Barry Ferguson in as interim until the end of the season.
This has seen various names linked to the role, with Real Madrid assistant Davide Ancelotti the most recent to supposedly enter the race in Govan.
With that being said, former Manchester United boss Ferguson has been seen at New Edmiston House as fans await news of a new manager.

Ferguson spotted at Rangers Museum
It has been a season to forget for the Light Blues after failing to make a dent on Celtic’s title win in the Scottish Premiership.
As a result, the appointment of a new head coach in G51 is one that will be of paramount importance moving into the new campaign.
This has seen the likes of Steven Gerrard and Danny Rohl also linked to the role, with no deal going through at this point.
As the search continues for the new manager, it is certainly interesting to learn that Ferguson has been spotted at New Edmiston House.
Four Lads Had A Dream shared an image via X on 14 May of the legendary gaffer entering the Rangers Museum on the day of the new home shirt’s release.
This is certainly something that supporters will be delighted to see, regardless of it not necessarily being in any official capacity.
Ferguson should be appointed at Rangers
As a Rangers fan and someone with the experience of the former Red Devils boss, it would make total sense to utilise his wide knowledge in Govan moving forward.
Years | Club |
1974 | East Sterlingshire |
1974-1978 | St Mirren |
1978-1986 | Aberdeen |
2986-2013 | Manchester United |
This could make Ferguson a perfect option for an advisory role at Ibrox moving forward, especially with new owners potentially set to come in.
There won’t be many better at providing the likes of Paraag Marathe and 49ers Enterprises a general idea of what makes the Gers tick.
It will be interesting to see what this visit to G51 means for the 83-year-old ahead of what could prove to be a huge campaign for the Light Blues.
