Davide Ancelotti plan revealed as meetings held in Madrid amid Rangers talk
Rangers’ hunt for a new manager has taken a big step forward over recent days.
With the impending takeover of the 49ers nearing completion, questions have been asked about who will hold the post at Ibrox next season.
Barry Ferguson’s long-term position as Rangers’ manager seems unlikely, especially after a recent spell of uninspiring form.
With the Scottish Premiership now just two games away from completion, all eyes are on the summer, with big changes expected.
Now, with Real Madrid assistant Davide Ancelotti emerging as a candidate, his plans for his immediate future have been revealed.

Davide Ancelotti plans to stay in Europe amid Rangers and Brazil proposals
As it stands, Ancelotti is one of the favourites to take over the Rangers post this summer.
It is believed that the Glaswegians have made an offer for the Real Madrid assistant coach, however, his future is still undecided.
On top of Rangers, Ancelotti also has an offer from Italian outfit Como, who boast numerous household names such as Pepe Reina and Raphael Varane.
Another option for the upcoming coach is to once again follow his father, Carlo Ancelotti, to the Brazilian national team.

Now, his plan has been revealed by El Mundo, page 32, (14 May) regarding his immediate future.
The report states that Davide Ancelotti is planning to stay in Madrid, even if he takes the post in Brazil.
From here, he would travel to matches, an ideal that is also being considered by his father.

Davide Ancelotti could start a dynasty at Rangers
Rangers fans might feel uneasy about appointing Ancelotti, given that he is yet to be a first-team manager.
However, given his feats as an assistant, it is hard to imagine that he wouldn’t be able to make the step up.
Across multiple leagues, he has helped clubs win numerous prestigious trophies, with the Champions League no doubt the most eye-catching.
If Rangers can lure Ancelotti to Ibrox, there is no reason why he couldn’t start a dynasty.
