Willie Miller rages at what he spotted in Rangers win v Aberdeen – ‘Dreadful’
Rangers beat Aberdeen 4-0 on Sunday to end of run of seven home matches without victory.
Barry Ferguson stuck with the line-up that started the 1-1 draw against Celtic (4 May) and his decision paid off.
Vaclav Cerny, Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane scored the goals that were the difference between the two sides on 11 May as the Gers finally won at Ibrox.
It was the first time the home crowd had seen since the 4-0 win over Ross County on 2 February, before Ferguson was placed in interim charge.

Cerny opener for Rangers leaves Miller furious
The first-half was an uninspiring affair, with the likes of Cerny, Dessers and Mohamed Diomande failing to open up the Dons.
However, that changed in the opening stages of the second half as Cerny put the ball past Dimitar Mitov after a superb pass from Nico Raskin.
Former Pittodrie ace Willie Miller was stunned by the ease of which the Czech international scored and slammed Jimmy Thelin’s defence for the opener.
Speaking on BBC Sportsound (11 May, 13:23 pm), he said: “You should be watching the ball, thinking about where the danger is, and Aberdeen’s centre backs just didn’t do that.
“Deary me. Dreadful defending.”

Ferguson will be relieved after Rangers win
Ferguson secured a home win for the first time in his interim reign, after setting a club record for Ibrox games without one after replacing Philippe Clement.
His chances of getting the permanent role once the 49ers Enterprises group take over in the summer, seem to be diminishing more by the day.
Stats | Won | Drawn | Lost | Points |
Ferguson | 4 | 3 | 2 | 15 |
The Gers look to be set to go in a different direction after a mixed spell under the 47-year-old, where their domestic form has not improved much despite putting on a show in the Europa League until they were eliminated by Athletic Bilbao.
In fairness to Ferguson, the squad at his disposal is not good enough and needs a significant overhaul in the transfer market, but it does not look like he will be the man to lead it.
It is absolutely vital that the new ownership get their next appointment right, whether it be the Light Blues legend or somebody else, they cannot afford to get it wrong and increase the timescale to catch up with Celtic, who have run away with the league title once again.
