Ridvan Yilmaz confirms Rangers exit decision to fans at Ibrox
Ridvan Yilmaz has addressed his future at Rangers ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Turkey international has continued to struggle with fitness issues this season, missing 23 games across all competitions so far.
This has seen Yilmaz fall down the pecking order at Rangers, with Jefte usurping him as the Light Blues’ first-choice left-back.
With only two years remaining on the defender’s contract, the Glasgow giants must now make a decision regarding his future ahead of the summer.

Yilmaz announces he is staying at Rangers
This has led to Yilmaz being linked with a move away from Rangers this summer transfer window, as pundits and fans urge the Gers to cut their losses on him.
However, the left-back has now confirmed that he will be staying at Ibrox beyond this season.
He did so in the hospitality section of Ibrox as Ferguson’s side beat Aberdeen 4-0 in the Premiership on Sunday (11 May), with Colin of the Heart & Hand podcast sharing an image.
Matches | Assists | Goals Conceded | Clean Sheets | Yellow Cards | Minutes |

Yilmaz was spotted wearing a suit with a mic in his hand, as he addressed those present in hospitality.
Apart from addressing his future, the former Besiktas ace revealed that he is edging closer to regaining full fitness.
However, it appears the Premiership heavyweights have no plans to rush the Turk, as they have nothing to play for during the remainder of the season.
Ibrox on verge of takeover as big summer awaits
While Yilmaz has confirmed his intention to stay at Rangers, there are still no guarantees that he will be at the club next season.
Much of it could depend on the takeover by Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe going through, and the appointment of a new manager.
The Light Blues could offload Yilmaz if the incoming manager does not want to include him in his plans for the future.
However, with the Ibrox outfit needing strengthening in several other areas, they could also opt to keep Yilmaz and Jefte as their left-back options for another season.
