Raskin heroics as teammate in 3/10 stinker – Rangers player ratings vs Aberdeen

Rangers ended their winless run at Ibrox with a routine 4-0 victory over Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.

The first half was an awful watch for many of the Ibrox faithful in the end-of-season clash between the two Scottish giants.

Cyriel Dessers was slammed for his miss before the striker then had another ruled out by VAR for offside.

Aberdeen also put the ball into the next, but the linesman deemed it was also offside.

However, Barry Ferguson changed some things up at half-time and Rangers looked far better.

Vaclav Cerny stepped up to open the scoring as the winger latched onto a ball from Nico Raskin before he slotted the ball home just before the hour mark.

Dessers then finally got his goal after he tapped the ball into the net after Raskin’s cut back.

Hamza Igamane then netted Rangers’ third with a sensational strike as he hit a dipping volley into the corner of the net.

Jefte then rounded off the victory with a goal in added time to finished the match off.

Now, Ibrox News has rated each player for their performance against Aberdeen.

Raskin shows Bajrami up with Rangers performance

The performances of the two Rangers stars could not be more contrasting. The first half was abysmal from the Gers, and they could have easily gone behind.

As a result, Bajrami was pulled at the break as he continues to struggle in a Rangers shirt.

Meanwhile, Raskin took the game by the scruff of its neck and played a wonderful ball to Cerny to bring the Ibrox to life.

The midfielder’s quality was the gamechanger, a stark contrast to Bajrami who has been a passenger in the squad for weeks.

Realistically, Bajrami’s Rangers career should be over, while Raskin will rightly earn the plaudits for his display against Aberdeen.
