‘Barry Ferguson makes Igamane error’ – Rangers confirmed XI v Aberdeen
Barry Ferguson has named an unchanged Rangers side as they prepare to face Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
The Gers are set to play host to Jimmy Thelin’s side on 11 May as the Scot looks to get back to winning ways in Govan.
Last time out, the Light Blues drew 1-1 with Old Firm rivals Celtic as Cyriel Dessers scored the opener and will be keen to secure all three points at home to the Dons.
As a result, it is a surprise to see Ferguson make no changes to his side, but he may regret not starting Igamane at Ibrox.

Ferguson gets Igamane decision wrong v Aberdeen
The draw last time out against Brendan Rodgers’ side wasn’t the worst result, but after being ahead, it was disappointing not to take the win.
The Gers arguably had the better of the chances throughout the clash but fell to a single point thanks to an Adam Idah strike in the second half.
Given that the performance against the Hoops was largely positive, it makes sense to keep a largely settled side in Govan against the Dons.
After going six without a win in all competitions, Ferguson will be hoping some stability will help side perform to their best level.

With that being said, a lack of changes has seen Igamane remain on the bench, which could prove to be an error as the forward could have had a telling impact from the start against Aberdeen.
The 22-year-old has gone three games without a goal, with his last coming against the Dons, showcasing how much of an impact he could have if he had been given the chance.
Ferguson will want to end Rangers spell on high
There is no doubt that the interim head coach has added a positive vibe to the Light Blues after a difficult spell under Philippe Clement.
This has seen the Scot pick up a variety of positive results, including the penalty shootout win against Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
With those games behind him and a run of six without a win, the 47-year-old boss will be hoping to end his tenure with a positive run, potentially kick-starting against Aberdeen.
