Rangers ready £1.7m+ transfer for Moussa Djenepo at Ibrox as exit wanted
Rangers want to sign Antalyaspor forward Moussa Djenepo in the upcoming transfer window to bolster the attacking options at Ibrox.
The Gers have relied on Vaclav Cerny, Ianis Hagi, Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane up front for most of the season, but major changes could potentially occur after Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises complete their takeover.
Cerny is on loan from Wolfsburg, and while the Light Blues have a buy option in the deal, they could be without him soon.
Newcastle United and Tottenham also have their eyes on Igamane ahead of this summer, and the Bears could possibly need attacking reinforcements soon.

Dejenepo wants to leave Turkey as Rangers make approach
Djenepo, who’s on loan from Standard Liege, has been approached by the Gers about a potential transfer, according to Africafoot.
The news outlet reports (3 May) that the 26-year-old left-winger wants to leave Turkey in the coming months due to issues over unpaid wages.

It’s been claimed that while the Super Lig outfit have an option to buy the Mali international, he doesn’t want to stay next season.
Djenepo has a release clause of around £1.7m, and the Glaswegian outfit may need to be ready to trigger it for his transfer at Ibrox.

49ers must strengthen squad at Ibrox after takeover
Barry Ferguson’s future at Ibrox seems set as the ex-midfielder isn’t expected to stay at the Gers beyond his interim term, which ends this summer.
The former Scotland international has had an underwhelming domestic record as the Light Blues’ manager, with Celtic securing a point in the Old Firm derby away from home on Sunday (4 May).
It remains to be seen who the next permanent manager at the Bears will be, which will certainly affect the transfer strategy at Ibrox.
Rangers could also be without Hagi at the end of the season, with the Romanian playmaker’s current contract expiring in the coming months.
The US consortium will undoubtedly want to compete with Brendan Rodgers’ team once they complete their takeover, and they’ll need to build a strong squad to do that.
With some key players potentially on their way out of the Gers, the Americans will have to invest heavily next summer.
Djenepo is an experienced international who has the ability to contribute at Ibrox if he’s signed, and the situation at the Glaswegian outfit will be one to keep an eye on.
