
Ferguson axes Hamza Igamane in three changes – Rangers predicted XI v Celtic
Barry Ferguson could make three changes to his Rangers side to face Celtic on Sunday, with Hamza Igamane potentially set to drop out.
The Gers are preparing for a return to Scottish Premiership action on 4 May, just over a week after their draw with St Mirren.
It is safe to say that the Govan faithful will be hoping for a better showing against their biggest rivals as the Hoops travel to G51.
As a result, Ferguson will be hoping to get one over Brendan Rodgers once again after the Old Firm win at Parkhead back in March.
This could see the interim head coach utilise a number of changes, with Igamane potentially on the chopping block at Ibrox.

Igamane axed for Rangers v Celtic
Although the result wasn’t ideal last time out, there is every chance that the backline could remain intact for the visit of the champions.
This could see Liam Kelly start in goal once again despite making just one save last time out [FotMob], with John Souttar, Robin Propper and Clinton Nsiala potentially set to start ahead of the Scot.
Flanking this trio, James Tavernier and Jefte could start once again, especially after the latter won two tackles and four duels against St Mirren.
Ferguson could utilise a double change in the midfield with Connor Barron and Nedim Bajrami potentially set to replace Bailey Rice and Mohammed Diomande in a change of set-up.
This could see the Albania international start after maintaining a 100 per cent pass accuracy in his last showing for the Light Blues.
Vaclav Cerny could also come into the side, in place of Igamane, after creating a chance off the bench against the Saints.
The Wolfsberg loanee could be set to start alongside Cyriel Dessers in the forward line after scoring his 24th goal of the season last week.

There is nothing left to play for in the Scottish Premiership, but pride is certainly on the line once again in the Old Firm.

Last time out, Igamane netted a superb winner and could be given the opportunity to impress from the bench once again at Ibrox.
This will give the Light Blues plenty of impact options with Ianis Hagi, Danilo, and Oscar Cortes potentially set to start as substitutes once again.
It will be interesting to see what approach Ferguson takes and what that will mean for the result in Govan.
