Kris Boyd laughs at Rangers v Celtic question he’s asked live on Sky Sports
Rangers host fierce rivals Celtic at Ibrox on Sunday for the final Old Firm Derby of the Scottish Premiership campaign.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will arrive at Ibrox as the freshly crowned Scottish Premiership champions after beating Dundee United 5-0 on 26 April.
But Rangers claimed the bragging rights in the last Old Firm Derby with a 3-2 win at Celtic Park, courtesy of Hamza Igamane’s late winner.
Barry Ferguson’s men will be determined to make the Ibrox faithful proud with another victory over Celtic amid an otherwise poor domestic campaign.

Kris Boyd laughs as he dismisses Rangers v Celtic suggestion live on Sky
The Bears have not emerged victorious in the Scottish Premiership since their 4-3 victory over Dundee on 29 March, and will be desperate to get back to winning ways against their bitter rivals on Sunday.
Ahead of the game, Kris Boyd was asked live on Sky Sports News [30 April, 10:33am] if the Gers will give Celtic a guard of honour after they clinched the league title.
Boyd laughed and simply said: “There won’t be any guard of honour.”

Ferguson will be determined to beat Celtic on Sunday
Interim boss Ferguson looks increasingly unlikely to be handed the permanent managerial reins at Ibrox, while Rangers have been linked with the likes of ex-Borussia Dortmund boss Marco Rose.
Opponent | Result |
Aberdeen (A) | 2-2 D |
Athletic Bilbao (A) | 2-0 L |
St Mirren (A) | 2-2 D |
Ferguson successfully steered the Bears to the Europa League quarter-finals via a penalty shootout win over Fenerbahce in the last 16.
The interim boss has not been afraid to make tough decisions in his tenure with the Gers, and dropped previous first-choice goalkeeper Jack Butland in favour of Liam Kelly.
The 47-year-old did well to guide Rangers to the Europa League quarter-finals, but his time in charge at Ibrox so far is best remembered by his Old Firm victory at Celtic Park on 16 March.
While Ferguson looks increasingly unlikely to be handed the Rangers role permanently, he will be determined to beat Rodgers’ men once again on Sunday.
A positive end to an otherwise tricky campaign could be vital for the Bears as they look to enjoy a brighter future under prospective owners 49ers Enterprises.
