49ers ‘decide on new Rangers manager’ amid huge development
San Francisco 49ers, via their investment arm 49ers, are expected to finalise the Rangers takeover in the coming weeks.
One of the first big decisions they will be making is on who the next permanent manager will be.
Currently, Barry Ferguson is in charge on an interim basis, but his tenure has not yielded too much for fans to be excited about him being handed the job next season.

Daniel Farke appears to be the chosen one by the 49ers enterprises
Daniel Farke, who guided Leeds United to promotion to the Premier League, has been linked with the Ibrox hot seat.
It’s understood that the 49ers are looking for a new manager at Leeds and their plan could be to ask Farke to move to Gers and take over the reins there while they hire someone with the pedigree to keep the Elland Road outfit in the English top flight.
On 28 April, Guardian even reported which three managers are in the running to replace the German, so it’s clear that the Americans want to change the Leeds manager.

Paraag Marathe, the Whites’ chairman, is understood to fly in to have conversations with Farke about his future.
It could be that instead of sacking him, he asks the former Norwich City manager to become the next Rangers boss.
Rangers could go to the next level under Farke
It may not be the worst decision in the world to have Farke be in charge of the Ibrox outfit for next season.
The Ibrox faithful should be thrilled about Farke as their potential manager due to his proven track record of success.
He led Norwich City to two EFL Championship titles and secured Leeds United’s Premier League promotion with a dominant 2024-25 campaign, amassing over 90 points, potentially 100.
His possession-based, attacking style and ability to galvanise squads under pressure align perfectly with Rangers’ ambitions.
The German’s experience and leadership could elevate the Gers, ensuring competitiveness in Scotland and beyond.
