Vaclav Cerny in Rangers exit twist as transfer process begins away from Ibrox
Vaclav Cerny faces an uncertain future at Rangers as his loan deal from Wolfsburg nears an end.
The Czech international has just over two months remaining on his contract with the Light Blues, who must now decide whether they want to make his move permanent.
Rangers have the option to buy Cerny from Wolfsburg for a cut-price fee of £5.5million, although the clause would have to be triggered by the end of May.
Not only will the Gers face increasing competition from other clubs if they do not take up the option by then, but the fee could also become more than double.

Rangers face Cerny transfer twist
Cerny has already made his feelings about Rangers apparent and is open to extending his stay at Ibrox.
However, the Premiership heavyweights are running out of time to snap the 27-year-old up for an affordable fee.
They must decide whether they want to buy the attacker or not quickly, as other parties are already stepping up their efforts to sign him.
Besiktas have ‘stepped in’ to acquire Cerny’s services this summer, according to Ajansspor.

The Turkish news outlet reported via their website on Monday (21 April) that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to add the left-footer to his ranks.
This comes after the 16-time Turkish champions were ‘amazed’ by Cerny’s performances against Fenerbahce in the UEFA Europa League last-16 tie.

Cerny to stay at Ibrox
Cerny has been one of Rangers’ best players this season, and there is no reason why the Glasgow giants would not want to buy him for £5.5m.
However, they might have to wait until the proposed takeover by Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe goes through before a decision is made.
A handover of power is nearing completion at Ibrox, but an announcement is still a few weeks away.
Therefore, the Gers may wait towards the end of the deadline to trigger the option to sign Cerny to make a final call on his future.
