Kris Boyd explodes at Rangers ’embarrassment’, threatens more Ibrox exits
Kris Boyd was raging with Rangers ahead of the clash against Aberdeen on Sunday as Barry Ferguson named a much-changed side.
The Gers travelled to Pittodrie on 13 April as the interim named his starting 11 featuring nine changes from the goalless draw against Athletic Club.
The Light Blues avoided defeat despite going down to 10 men early on as Robin Propper was controversially sent off early on.
Despite this being a positive result, Boyd has still been left fuming ahead of the clash at Pittodrie, as that sums up everything wrong at Ibrox.

Boyd fumes at Rangers ahead of Aberdeen clash
The Govan club have had a largely poor season, with Celtic able to run away with the Scottish Premiership with ease.
This was summed up by the departure of Philippe Clement, as his tenure continued to frustrate supporters on a weekly basis.
Ferguson has come in but has been forced to deal with similar issues, which don’t reflect well on the squad of players at Ibrox.

Defeats against Hibernian and Motherwell have been outweighed by huge wins against Fenerbahce and Celtic, but it is that factor that has angered Boyd.
Speaking live on Sky Sports football (13 April, 11:45am), the former Gers forward has vented his frustrations after plenty of changes were made at Pittodrie.
He said: “We keep saying it with Rangers, Celtic and European games they get themselves up for it, but their bread and butter should be the league and it’s not been good enough.
“Even if Barry [Ferguson] was making changes every single week, I don’t think many players could argue with it because they’ve not been good enough. To lose five games at home as Rangers is an embarrassment, especially when you take into consideration some of the teams they’ve lost to.
“The old habits are still there, and it’s getting to the stage where players have been given so many opportunities that it’s going to be a clear out and rebuild in the summer, whatever happens.”

Rangers continue to flatter to deceive under Ferguson
There has always been an electric atmosphere at Ibrox when playing in huge fixtures, and that has tended to end in a positive result.
This was the case under Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the Europa League in 2022, and has almost been replicated this campaign.
It will certainly be interesting to see whether the Gers can put in a positive performance against Aberdeen and prove that they can do it on all fronts.
If they fall to defeat against the Dons, it adds fuel to the fire with Boyd, who is growing in frustration with the failure of his side on a yearly basis.
