Rangers to ‘sell Hamza Igamane and Nicolas Raskin’ after record transfer news
Rangers could be set for their busiest summer transfer window in years at Ibrox.
As the 49ers Enterprises and Andrew Cavenagh push to complete their takeover, the Bears are ready for yet another transformation in their playing squad.
After a dismal season on the pitch, only slightly covered by success in the Europa League, big changes are expected on the pitch and in the boardroom.
That could also lead to some big-name departures.

Nicolas Raskin and Hamza Igamane to leave Rangers
Nicolas Raskin and Hamza Igamane have been the success stories of the season at Ibrox, but that has led to increased transfer speculation.
Rangers are said to want £20million each for their two stars, with Aston Villa and Leeds said to be watching the Belgium international.
Dan Plumley admits that it may be hard to turn down for the Ibrox board, regardless of who is in charge, given the transfer records in Scotland.
The football finance expert insists that player sales will be needed to balance out some costs, even if the 49ers complete their takeover in Govan.
“Absolutely,” he exclusively told Ibrox News when asked if Raskin and Igamane may have to be sold.
“However, you need to consider the constraints of the market you are in as well.
“Even with all of the positivity around the new takeover and investment, you can’t just open a blank chequebook in football anymore; that just isn’t the case.
“Certainly, it is not the case in Scottish football as well, and we’ve talked about the challenges financially in that league, and of course, Rangers will be boosted this season by the Europa League money again, that may be able to generate them some transfer activity, but some of that money also has to come from selling players as well.

“If you’re going to get those kinds of offers for those players, with some of the record fees in Scottish football, it would be tough to turn down.
“Whilst you probably will expect some new faces coming in, I think it’s likely you’ll have to see some exits as well to balance some of that out.”

Rangers set for huge summer
If Rangers could bank £40million or even more from selling both Raskin and Igamane, there would be zero complaints.
With the likes of Tottenham and Newcastle linked with the striker too, you have to sell when the iron is hot, and that is the harsh reality of this situation.
