Lampard and Solskjaer in heated battle to seal Rangers star transfer
Rangers potentially have a number of players who could be leaving Ibrox in the summer transfer window.
A decision still has to be made on who the new manager is, and once that’s done, more clarity on the futures of exit-linked players is expected.
That’s likely to happen once San Francisco 49ers seal their takeover and become the new majority owners.

Coventry City and Besiktas among clubs keen on Tom Lawrence
Coventry City, managed by Frank Lampard and Besiktas, who currently have Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their boss, are two of numerous clubs keen on signing Tom Lawrence, per the Mail.
West Brom, Burnley, Middlesbrough, Blackburn Rovers, Olympiacos and PAOK are all keen on the Wales international.

Lawrence’s contract at Ibrox runs out at the end of the season and thus far, there have been no indications that he will be extending his contract.
The 31-year-old has seldom featured for the first team this season as he has faced fitness issues.

Rangers make major error with Lawrence contract
Gers have made a significant error by allowing Lawrence’s contract to run down, as it now seems unlikely they will secure any transfer fee for the 31-year-old Welsh attacker.
While he has shown flashes of quality, notably scoring the decisive penalty in Rangers’ Europa League win over Fenerbahce, he has not been at his best for months.
His recent performances may have reignited interest from other clubs, particularly as he’s regained fitness and earned a recall to the Wales national team.
However, with his deal nearing its end and no indication of him signing a new contract, especially given his history of injuries and the allure of a fresh start elsewhere, the Ibrox outfit are set to lose him for free.
This is a costly mistake for the Blues, who signed him on a free transfer in 2022, as they could have commanded a modest fee earlier, even £2-3million, to reinvest in the squad, rather than letting a valuable asset walk away for nothing.
