Ben Davies waits on agent as Rangers transfer stance emerges already
Ben Davies has enjoyed his current loan stint with Birmingham City after leaving Rangers in the summer.
The Blues sit top of League One in England and are nine points clear of second-place Wrexham, with two games in hand on the Welsh outfit.
Davies has made 29 league appearances so far and scored his first goal for Chris Davies’ men in their 4-1 win over Shrewsbury on Saturday.
The Rangers man is also set to play at Wembley on 13 April, when Birmingham take on Peterborough in the EFL Trophy final.

Davies could leave Rangers for Birmingham permanently
The Gers star is set to win the League One title with Birmingham and could be tempted by the prospect of playing Championship football next season.
Ben Davies stats | 2024/25 League One |
Appearances | 29 |
Tackles won % | 56.2 |
Duels won % | 70.2 |
Pass accuracy % | 88.4 |

When asked if he could be leaving Rangers to join the English club permanently, Davies told Birmingham Live: “I’m happy with how it’s going here, but I’ll think about that and consider all my options in the summer.
“I’m going to work here until the summer, then see what my agent says. I’m really enjoying it here, so if the opportunity arose, I’d consider it seriously.”

Rangers win has further bolstered Ferguson’s credentials
Davies has revealed that his future could lie away from Ibrox, but one man who could be staying with the Gers permanently is interim boss Ferguson.
The 47-year-old has already guided the Light Blues to the Europa League quarter-finals before steering the Bears to a 3-2 win over fierce rivals Celtic on 16 March.
Ferguson has reinstalled a fighting spirit at Rangers, which was demonstrated once more on Saturday when they came away as 4-3 winners at Dundee.
The Gers looked destined for defeat when they trailed by two goals on two separate occasions.
However, goals from James Tavernier and Tom Lawrence, as well as Cyriel Dessers’ late winner, ensured that Rangers travelled back to Ibrox as 4-3 victors.
If Ferguson does stick around, he will need to make some brutal decisions on this squad, which has failed this season, including letting Davies leave as soon as possible.
