Dessers axed in two changes – Rangers predicted XI v Dundee
Barry Ferguson could make two changes to his Rangers team to face Dundee on Saturday as they return to domestic football.
Having gone into the international period in good form, Ferguson will be hoping his men can carry on the momentum following wins over Fenerbahce and Celtic.
Several Rangers players went away on international duty, with Vaclav Cerny receiving particularly rave reviews for Czechia.

Jefte could be introduced into the team
Having been in good form before the international break, Ferguson won’t be keen to make too many changes to a team that is finding their rhythm.
With that in mind, Jack Butland is expected to retain his place between the sticks.
John Souttar and Leon Balogun could well keep their places, while Jefte could return to the fold in place of Ridvan Yilmaz.
The Light Blues may have beaten Celtic last time out, but Yilmaz won just one of his tackles and lost two of his five duels [FotMob]. With that in mind, Ferguson may want to bring Jefte back into the fold after a strong season so far.
James Tavernier and Dujon Sterling are likely to retain their places behind the midfield of Nico Raskin and Connor Barron. Raskin is being linked with a move away from Ibrox in the summer transfer window, meaning supporters may need to enjoy what they have left of him.

Cyriel Dessers could be axed
Mohammed Diomande and Cerny could retain their places in the Gers’ attacking force. Cerny provided a goal and an assist when his side beat Gibraltar 4-0 on Tuesday (25 March), earning him plenty of praise.
Appearances | Goals | Assists |
37 | 17 | 4 |
If Cerny can bring the same form back to Scotland, he could help Hamza Igamane get on the scoresheet at the top end of the pitch.
Dessers has been in solid form since Ferguson’s arrival, but Igamane’s 88th-minute winner against Celtic last time out may have done enough to earn him a place in the starting line-up.
Rangers won’t be getting too comfy as this season has shown that anything can happen, but they are the favourites to stroll past 11th-placed Dundee.
With that in mind, it makes sense for Ferguson to give different players minutes and let Igamane and Dessers battle it out for the starting spot in the Europa League quarter-finals.
