Nicolas Raskin developments brilliant for new American owners at Rangers already
Nicolas Raskin has made all of the headlines at Rangers this week, making his full debut for Belgium.
The good news keeps coming at Ibrox, with the 49ers and Andrew Cavenagh takeover bid progressing well, and the Ibrox faithful will be hoping to enjoy a better campaign next season.
Rangers have recently turned round their dreadful season, but still sit 13 points behind Celtic, despite the recent 3-2 win at Parkhead in the latest Old Firm derby on 16 March.
Raskin could spearhead that charge next season, with his value only going one way.

American owners will love Raskin at Rangers
Raskin produced an outstanding performance for Belgium as Rudi Garcia’s men retained their Nations League A status via a 3-0 victory over Ukraine on Sunday.
Speaking on the Daily Record’s Hotline Live on 24 March, Keith Jackson linked it to the takeover: “That’s great news if you’re prospective American owners of Rangers, isn’t it?
“Because you’ve got a guy who has now got the potential of holding down a place in that Belgium side.”

Raskin hits world stage from Ibrox
Raskin made a substitute appearance during the first leg of their Nations League play-off on Thursday, when Garcia’s men suffered a 3-1 defeat to Ukraine.

But fellow midfielder Youri Tielemans was suspended for the second leg, which handed the Rangers star his opportunity to shine, and he seized his big chance.
As alluded to by Jackson, Raskin could nail down a regular starting spot in the Belgium side now that he has steered his nation towards retaining their Nations League A status.
In recent years, Belgium have been one of the powerhouses in the European game, so it will no doubt excite the Gers’ incoming owners that one of their current stars is already shining on the international stage for such a high-profile nation.
Nils Koppen has frequently spoken about making serious profit on players at Ibrox, and with that model likely needed, it may see the little maestro moving on, sooner rather than later.
For now, though, Raskin will turn his attention back to Rangers duties and will hope to help Barry Ferguson’s men defeat Dundee on Saturday.
