Rabbi Matondo sends message to Hamza Igamane after Rangers win v Celtic
Rangers defeated Celtic 3-2 in the latest Old Firm derby thanks to Hamza Igamane’s late winner.
The Bears were 2-0 up at half-time on Sunday through Nicolas Raskin and Mohamed Diomande, but Celtic responded as strikes by Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate levelled proceedings at Parkhead.
Igamane then stepped up in the 88th minute to latch onto Jack Butland’s long goal-kick and fire home a sublime winner to send the travelling support wild.
The Light Blues have now won their last two Old Firm derbies, also defeating Celtic 3-0 back in January.

After bagging the winner at Celtic Park, Igamane took to Instagram to share his delight, writing: “Alhamdulillah. Plus Three.”
Rabbi Matondo, currently on loan from Rangers at German second-tier outfit Hannover 96 was among those to comment, saying: “Igamaneeeee”
Igamane has proven to be an inspired addition for Rangers
When Igamane moved to Ibrox last summer, he was somewhat of an unknown quantity, having previously plied his trade for Moroccan side FAR Rabat.

But the forward has taken to life with the Bears very well, and has notched 14 goals and three assists in 37 appearances across all competitions.
While Rangers have had an underwhelming Scottish Premiership season, Igamane’s contributions have been a positive, as he has now scored 10 goals in 26 Scottish Premiership matches.
He has also played a key role in the Light Blues’ successful Europa League run, as four goals in eight outings have helped his side reach the quarter-final stages.
Igamane had already impressed the Ibrox faithful when he bagged a brace during a 2-2 draw with Motherwell back in December, before he then went on to score a hat-trick against Hibernian in January.
The Moroccan has now made himself an extremely popular figure at Rangers by scoring the winner against bitter rivals Celtic on Sunday.
