UEFA to likely fine Rangers after what happened v Fenerbahce – Exclusive
Rangers could be in trouble despite their huge win against Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The Bears came into the second leg 3-1 ahead at Ibrox after their heroics in Istanbul, but it went all the way to penalties in Govan after a 2-0 defeat.
Thankfully, for Barry Ferguson and the Ibrox faithful, the Bears roared through to the quarter-finals with a 3-2 shootout win, where they will face Athletic Bilbao.

UEFA fine on cards at Rangers
Keith Hackett expects a special report to take place after the Ibrox showdown, after Fenerbahce players complained of objects thrown onto the field.
Speaking exclusively to Ibrox News, the ex-FIFA referee expects that investigation will likely turn into a fine for Rangers.
“Objects thrown into the field will be the subject of a special report and likely to result in a fine by UEFA,” Hackett said.

Another huge European night at Ibrox
Given that Ferguson is only in charge of his fourth Rangers game since taking over on an interim basis from Philippe Clement, this is huge.
Jose Mourinho has been taken on and swept aside, despite a nervy evening at Ibrox.
Rangers looked tired and out of ideas for the majority of the game, but that doesn’t matter, with the win in Istanbul enough to help them scrape through.
Jack Butland was the hero once again, and he has finally stepped up alongside James Tavernier after a season to forget for both of them.

With a huge showdown against Bilbao next up, where the final will ironically take place, Ferguson will know he has a lot of work to do.
Rangers also take on Celtic this weekend, with a huge Old Firm victory possibly on the cards at Parkhead, something Clement never managed to do.
Ferguson knows what it takes to win there, and he will bring that passion that has been missing there for far too many years.
UEFA will be casting an eye over the scenes at Ibrox tonight, though, and trouble may follow.
