Rangers can seal shrewd Allan Campbell transfer amid contract update
Rangers have been credited with an interest in midfielder Allan Campbell, who is currently at Dundee United.
The 26-year-old was at Luton Town and spent the first half of the season on loan at Charlton Athletic and then moved to Dundee United after that was cancelled.
Since his move to Tannadice, the Scotland international has played in all five of their league games and become among their first names on the team sheet.

Rafa Benitez can help take Allan Campbell’s game to the next level at Rangers
Rafa Benitez has been linked with the Ibrox hot seat and he surely will want to bring in new players in the summer.
With the San Francisco 49ers expected to complete their takeover, there is the expectation that money will be there to be spent.
However, if they have the option to bring in a player who’s a full international and has decent SPFL experience on a free transfer, they surely will look to take it.
Benitez is someone who’s improved players at different clubs and different stages in his career and can do the same with Campbell.
He could also offer good bench strength ensuring that the club will not have to pay more money in order to add to their depth.

Allan Campbell expected to be available on a free transfer
Rangers News reported on 11 March that the Ibrox outfit were credited with showing an interest in him before he joined Dundee United.
However, they report that as he’s on a short-term contract with his deal running out at the end of the season, he will not sign an extension and will be available on a free transfer.

This gives Gers the chance to secure his services and not pay a transfer fee – freeing up funds to strengthen other areas of the squad.
A lot will also depend on who the next manager is, so it makes sense to have that decision made sooner rather than later.
Benitez’s arrival would excite fans and he could be right one for Campbell’s development at Ibrox.
