Vaclav Cerny ‘to leave’ Rangers as transfer interest emerges already
Vaclav Cerny will be heading for the exit door once his loan spell from Wolfsburg to Rangers expires at the end of the season.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see teams from Europe’s top five leagues vying for the Czechia international’s signature next summer after his performances at the Gers.
Cerny will reportedly cost £6.75million at Ibrox and whether the Light Blues will splash the cash on him remains to be seen.
While most fans would like to see the 27-year-old continue at the Bears, his agent has made a damning admission about his future.

Rangers transfer not realistic for Cerny
It doesn’t look realistic for Cerny to stay at the Glaswegian outfit beyond this season, David Nehoda says.
The Czech forward’s agent believes Wolfsburg may want to recall him as his contract runs until 2027 at the Bundesliga outfit.
Nehoda also revealed that the 27-year-old is already attracting interest from France and Italy, with the winger eyeing better things for his future.

Speaking to Czech media, as relayed by the Daily Record (8 March), Cerny’s agent said: “I can’t say what will happen next, but I don’t think it’s very realistic for him to stay at Rangers.
“His contract at Wolfsburg ends in the summer of 2027, so I would assume that the club will want to recall him, or there will be interested parties who would like to buy him.
“There’s already interest from France and Italy. I know Vaclav’s ambitions — to return to one of the top five leagues in Europe.”

Ibrox faithful will want to see Cerny transfer completed
The 49ers Enterprises must sign Cerny on a permanent transfer once they complete their takeover of the Light Blues.
With the American consortium’s financial might, the Bears will arguably have the funds to complete a deal for the Czechia international next summer.
If the potential new owners have any ambition, they will evidently do everything in their power to keep the 27-year-old at Ibrox after his consistent goal contributions this season.
Andrew Cavenagh and Paraag Marathe of the 49ers will need to show intent once they take control of the Glaswegian outfit, and it would be foolish to discard a move for the forward due to his price tag.
While most players have been inconsistent at the Gers, Cerny has been their only bright spark in the current campaign.
The winger scored a brace as the Light Blues beat Fenerbahce 3-1 in the Europa League away from home on Thursday (6 March).
Barry Ferguson has experimented with the team since being appointed interim manager, but he has relied on the Czech forward to deliver, just like Philippe Clement before he was sacked.
The Bears need to convince the 27-year-old that Ibrox is the right place for him.
