The Bears to battle Celtic for Lennon Miller?

The Gers are already making moves to strengthen their squad for next season. Dundee youngster Lyall Cameron will arrive at Ibrox next season after agreeing pre-contract terms.

Motherwell midfielder Lennon Miller has impressed heavily with a number of sides across the Premiership taking stock of the 18-year-old.

With Bears’ takeover by 49ers on the horizon, the new owners might want to flex their financial muscle and add promising players to the ranks. Rangers’ financial situation is about to improve and in such a scenario they should be able to battle the likes of Celtic for a talented teenager in Miller.

Premiership leaders Celtic have been following the Motherwell man for a long time and if they want to avoid a tussle with Rangers, they will push to get the deal done before the end of the season. Decision-making powers could soon shift at Ibrox with the American consortium holding talks over acquiring 51 per cent of the shares of the Glaswegian club.

Once the takeover is completed, Rangers will look to lock horns with Celtic in every area, on and off the pitch.
