Ferguson makes Souttar decision, two changes – Rangers confirmed XI v Fenerbahce
Barry Ferguson has named his Rangers starting 11 for their Europa League clash with Fenerbahce, making two changes in the process.
Given the disappointment in other comeptions, Rangers will enter their clash with Fenerbahce knowing that it is their only remaining chance of winning silverware this season.
Exits from both domestic cups and the 16-point gap from Celtic in the league has intensified the pressure on the Light Blues to find success through the Europa League.
With that in mind, Ferguson has made two changes from the defeat to Motherwell.

Ferguson names Rangers XI v Fenerbahce
Rangers are certainly the underdogs heading into this game and will be fully aware of the need for them to be at their best to ensure they at least remain on level terms ahead of the reverse fixture at Ibrox.
However, Ferguson has given them a great chance of doing just that, having named his starting lineup via Rangers official X account.
John Souttar is back in the starting 11, having missed the last few encounters through injury, while Jefte retains his place at left-back despite his showing against Motherwell.
The other change for the Light Blues sees Connor Barron come back into the side in midfield, in what appears to be a change in formation, with only Cyriel Dessers up top.
Ianis Hagi and Hamza Igamane have both been dropped to the bench.
Rangers: Butland, Tavernier, Souttar, Propper, Jefte, Yilmaz, Raskin, Barron, Diomande, Cerny, Dessers

Rangers must improve from Motherwell showing
The recent 2-1 defeat to Motherwell piled even more pressure on the Gers in what has been a dismal campaign for all involved.
Rangers v Motherwell | Goals | Shots | Possession |
Rangers | 1 | 22 | 65% |
Motherwell | 2 | 6 | 35% |
Though, it shouldn’t be a case of forgetting the result and moving on; Rangers need to learn from their mistakes in that game and ensure they aren’t replicated in Istanbul.
Fenerbahce will provide a stern test for Ferguson’s side, but it isn’t one that is beyond them if they are able to play the way they are capable of.
