Rangers news: Fabrizio Romano issues Ibrox exit update
Leon King now appears to be on his way out of Rangers on a temporary basis.
Scottish clubs can still seal loan moves ahead of the deadline despite the main winter window shutting at the start of January.
Barry Ferguson has arrived as the interim manager and has sanctioned the loan exit of the 21-year-old defender.

Ibrox exit set for Leon King as Queen’s Park come calling
Fabrizio Romano shared an exclusive update on Friday, 28 February, stating that Leon King is set to move to Queen’s Park on loan.
He reports it as an “emergency” loan signing for the second tier club as they aim to wrap up the deal ahead of the loan deadline.

The 21-year-old is not high up in the pecking order and was barely used by Philippe Clement all season.
The Ibrox outfit see a loan move as a chance for him to get some first-team minutes until the end of the current campaign.
Gers likely to keep close tabs on Leon King’s game time and performances
It would be wise for the Ibrox outfit to keep close tabs on how the defender fares on loan until the end of the season.
King has played in the Champions League for Rangers so it’s evident that he’s got potential but he’s not ready to be a first-team regular yet at Ibrox.
This move allows him the chance to play regularly, albeit at a lower level and if he performs regularly, then there’s a good chance he plays more often for the Gers first team next season.
If not, a Scottish top flight club or an English Championship outfit may well be willing to take the punt on him and give him the minutes he deserves.
It’s important that the club do not just let him go as he’s a potential first-team regular and an academy product so the fans will always have a soft spot for him.
