Cyriel Dessers makes Rangers promise as footage emerges v Kilmarnock
Cyriel Dessers has made a promise at Rangers after scoring two goals against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership.
The Gers faced Derek McInnes’ team at Rugby Park on Wednesday (26 February) and came back from two goals down to win 4-2.
Dessers spared Barry Ferguson’s blushes against the Saints in his first game as interim manager after scoring a brace.
The Nigerian striker has had a mixed campaign but seems to have found his feet in recent matches, which fans hope will continue.

Rangers goal promise made by Dessers after Kilmarnock win
Dessers has promised to score more goals for the Light Blues after his brace against Kilmarnock.
Joe Wright and Brad Lyons scored for the hosts in the first half before Vaclav Cerny managed to get one back before the break.
The former Cremonese forward then equalised for the Gers early in the second half before giving them the lead with a fearsome shot assisted by Ridvan Yilmaz.
Rangers posted footage of the third goal on Instagram (27 February), and the Nigerian striker shared it on his stories with the message: “Great character as a team. 20th goal of the season. More to come.”

Dessers makes massive turnaround this season after backlash
The Ibrox faithful had turned against Dessers at one point in the current campaign after his poor performances.
Philippe Clement had relied on the 30-year-old at the start of the season but dropped him from the starting lineup in favour of Hamza Igamane.
The Moroccan youngster has been a revelation at the Bears, although his recent displays have left much to be desired.
Dessers has stepped up at Ibrox after being linked with an exit in the winter transfer window.

The centre-forward has retained his place at the Light Blues, scoring four goals in his last six appearances in the Scottish Premiership.
Danilo’s injury provided the Nigerian ace the opportunity to get back into Clement’s plans, and he took it with both hands.
With Ferguson now in the dugout, the 30-year-old would have arguably convinced the interim manager to stick by him after scoring two goals.
While Dessers’ goals in the league won’t matter much as the Gers are 13 points behind Celtic, the supporters will want to see him turn up in the Europa League.
