Philippe Clement on brink of Rangers sack as clouds gather at Ibrox
Philippe Clement could be about to leave Rangers with black clouds gathering around Ibrox.
The Bears were embarrassed in the huge Scottish Cup upset against Queen’s Park on Sunday, losing 1-0 despite only giving away one shot on goal.
Clement refused to resign following the game when speaking to the media, but it looks as though that decision could be taken out of his hands.
Philippe Clement set to be sacked by Rangers
It has been reported by the Daily Record on 10 February that Clement is on the brink of the sack yet again at Ibrox, with a decision potentially soon.
Clouds are said to be gathering but the Ibrox board have time to make a decision with five days until a trip to Tynecastle to take on Hearts in the Scottish Premiership.
Questions have already started whether Clement will be in the dugout for that one.

Rangers search for new manager begins
Fraser Thornton and Patrick Stewart have only been in post for a couple of months at Ibrox, but the most important period of their entire reign is about to begin.
Stewart recently backed Clement but with the caveat of results improving and the defeat against Queen’s Park was the bottom of the barrel.
Rangers fans are used to some shocking displays in recent years, but this result takes the cake with yet another all-time low hit.
Forget the Europa League, you cannot use that when you are 13 points behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership and knocked out of both domestic cups.
Rangers | 0-1 | Queen’s Park |
Rangers | 0-2 | Dynamo Kyiv |
Kilmarnock | 1-0 | Rangers |
St Mirren | 2-1 | Rangers |
Rangers need to win every single game they enter, Clement and everyone knows that.
That is why the constant excuses are just getting beyond embarrassing now, with defeats already this season against Dynamo Kyiv, Kilmarnock, St Mirren and Queen’s Park just to pick out a few.
Clement has already counted his lucky stars on several occasions not to be sacked this season, but now they surely must have run out with Stewart needing to open the exit door and move on quickly.
