Rangers whizz Ross McCausland sends message to multi-million West Brom ace
Ross McCausland has sent a message to West Brom star Isaac Price on social media before Rangers take to the field this weekend.
McCausland and international teammate Price, both 21, are close having shared the pitch for Northern Ireland, with the latter having recently completed a January switch to West Bromwich Albion in the EFL Championship.
The Baggies secured a last-gasp win over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday (8 February) with the Gers in Ibrox action against Queen’s Park the following day in the Scottish Cup fifth round.
Rangers star McCausland teases teammate on Instagram
Price posted a series of images on his Instagram page on Saturday night, having played a part in West Brom’s vital late victory at The Hawthorns.
McCausland, who himself is hoping to feature in a win on Sunday, made a teasing remark about the bright red Adidas Predator boots his international teammate was sporting.
Price has six goals in 18 caps for Northern Ireland, while McCausland is looking to build on his four senior appearances for their national team.
In a comment under Price’s post, the Gers midfielder said: “Those boots are so you,” followed by a raised-arms emoji.
The next international break comes next month, with Northern Ireland taking on Switzerland and Sweden; Scotland take on Greece in a two-legged Nations League divisional play-off.

McCausland looking to further develop at Ibrox
McCausland is close with Price and the pair regularly exchange social media jibes, but the latter has put himself well into the spotlight with his move.
The duo are the same age and play in similar positions, with plenty of overlapping features during their respective displays on the pitch.
But McCausland will want to clamp down a more regular place in the Rangers midfield, having struggled with the odd injury concern this season and seen competition rise in the squad as others return from injury in a carousel for Philippe Clement to contend with.
The Northern Irishman has started just once since the 2-1 defeat to Aberdeen on 30 October – against non-league Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup – though did come on as a substitute for injured teammates in each of the last two crucial Europa League matches.
McCausland could again be handed a starting berth as cup action returns with the visit of Championship outfit Queen’s Park across Glasgow to Govan.
