Ridvan Yilmaz fresh transfer twist emerges after Rangers make demands
Besiktas have made their decision regarding a transfer for Ridvan Yilmaz after Rangers made their demands clear.
The Turkish outfit can still pursue a move for the Ibrox left-back as their window closes on 11 February.
Yilmaz signed for the Gers from the Istanbul club in the summer of 2022, and they have wanted to re-sign him to bolster their squad in recent months.
Besiktas make final decision on Ridvan Yilmaz transfer
Besiktas have shelved their interest in the Turkish defender after the Bears demanded around £4million for a permanent transfer, according to NTV Spor.
The news outlet reports (6 February) that the Super Lig club are no longer pushing to sign the defender due to the Glaswegian outfit’s demands.
While the Black Eagles had Yilmaz on their radar, they have moved on to pursue other targets.

Rangers right to keep Ridvan Yilmaz
Philippe Clement will arguably be delighted to have the 23-year-old continue at Ibrox until the end of the season.
Rangers have some crunch fixtures coming up and will need a strong squad to compete on all fronts.
Jefte has been the Gers’ first-choice left-back this season, but the Brazilian ace has the potential to move on to bigger things in the future.
Clement has found use for the Yilmaz in recent fixtures, though, playing him at right-back in the absence of James Tavernier, who has now returned from his injury.
The 23-year-old has also played further forward on occasions in the current campaign, as the Belgian manager has often had a selection headache with several players unavailable.
It hasn’t been surprising to see the Turkish ace being linked with an exit, but he could potentially be a key player for the Light Blues in their quest for glory in the Europa League and the Scottish Cup.
Yilmaz looked to be getting back into the Belgian manager’s plans recently, however, fitness issues have troubled him this season.
The Bears would be wise to keep the defender for the coming months and, if necessary, reevaluate his future next summer.
