Ianis Hagi sends message as new transfer confirmed
Rangers star Ianis Hagi has been constantly linked with an Ibrox exit after a turbulent campaign in Glasgow.
The 26-year-old has emerged as one of Philippe Clement‘s most influential players after being frozen out at the start of the season due to a contractual dispute.
He remained with the Light Blues in the winter transfer window despite constant speculation about a potential move and scored a brace against Ross County (2 February).
However, Hagi has been touted for a transfer to Genoa with his contract expiring at the end of the current campaign (Pescurt).
Ianis Hagi reacts to transfer announcement away from Rangers
The former Genk midfielder has reacted to former teammate Scott Arfield announcing a return to Falkirk, where he started his career back in 2007.
The duo played together for four seasons at Ibrox, the highlight of which was a Scottish Premiership title win under Steven Gerrard and reaching a Europa League final under Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The 36-year-old took to Instagram to react to the move, with Hagi commenting on the post, saying: “Good luck, Scotty.”

Good to see Arfield back in Scottish football
The former Scotland Under-21 international is now set to return to the Bairns at the age of 36, which was where his career began as he graduated from the academy and made 124 appearances for the club.
Stints in English football at Huddersfield Town and Burnley followed before he returned to Scottish football to sign for Rangers in 2018.
He made 233 appearances for the Govan club, scoring 43 goals and notching 19 assists in all competitions.
He was an integral part of the title win and the journey to the Europa League final, which the Light Blues lost to Eintracht Frankfurt on penalties.

He left the Bears to move to the United States with Charlotte FC before a return to England for a bit-part role with League One outfit Bolton Wanderers.
The Canada international is now back on Scottish soil and will hope for a successful farewell with his first-ever club before he eventually retires.
It is great to see the former Light Blues ace back in Scotland even if he is unlikely to come up against the Gers anytime soon, considering Falkirk play in the second tier.
