Rangers have been tipped to make a deadline-busting proposal to sign Chelsea star Aaron Anselmino, according to the Scottish Sun.
The newspaper’s online edition reported on 2 February reported that the officials from the Premier League club believe that the 19-year-old needs to play senior football to toughen him up.
The Gers could offer the Argentinian defender a chance to play in the Europa League round of 16 after they secured automatic progression with a win over Union Saint-Gilloise on Thursday night (30 January).
The report claims that the Light Blues face competition from Sheffield Wednesday and Marseille for the Stamford Bridge star but the Glasweigans could hold an advantage due to interest from Enzo Maresca’s side in Jefte.

Philippe Clement is in need of defensive reinforcements with injuries to Neraysho Kasanwirjo and Dujon Sterling depleting his options.
