Rangers want midfielder who won Carabao Cup with Liverpool in 2023/24

Rangers want to secure the services of former Liverpool midfielder Bobby Clark on loan, according to DaveOCKOP.

The news outlet reported on 30 January, Swansea City, Derby County and Hull City also want to sign the 19-year-old RB Salzburg midfielder on loan.

However, it remains unclear whether or not the Austrian side would be willing to sanction an exit in the final few days of the transfer window.

Rangers must open talks with Bobby Clark

Clark would be a quality addition to Gers’ squad and undoubtedly strengthen their midfield.

Having previously been part of Liverpool’s setup, the teenager brings with him a winning mentality, underscored by his contribution to their Carabao Cup victory last season.

His experience, despite his young age, in high-stakes environments like European competitions and domestic cups, could inject a new level of competitiveness and ambition into the Rangers side.

With his technical skills and versatility in midfield, the Englishman could seamlessly integrate into Philippe Clement’s system, providing both dynamism and creativity.

The Ibrox outfit, currently looking to bolster their midfield options, should seriously consider opening talks for a loan deal.
