Dundee United v Rangers: ‘Unacceptable’ question emerges on BBC Scotland
Craig Levein claimed the way Dundee United were bullying Rangers was just below the line of being unacceptable in the early stages of their Scottish Premiership clash.
Rangers found themselves a goal down after 19 minutes against the Tangerines but turned things around to win 3-1 at Tannadice on 26 January.
Mohamed Diomande equalised before goals from Robin Propper and Cyriel Dessers secured all three points in the second half, but Levein was shocked by the lack of physicality on show.
When asked on BBC Sportsound [26 January, 12:25pm] if Dundee United were bullying Rangers, he said: “It’s just below the line.
“Just below the line that is unacceptable and Rangers aren’t dealing with it.”
Rangers need to find consistency in their performances
On far too many occasions this season, Philippe Clement’s side has failed to showcase a high level of performance throughout the full 90 minutes with it largely the same case today.
The Light Blues started far too slow and they were perhaps fortunate to only find themselves a goal down in the early stages with the hosts dominating on and off the ball.
If success is going to come for Rangers, that needs to change.

They need to be capable of starting and finishing a game with the same level of quality and consistency in their performance after a dominant second half.
Only then will success be achieved at Ibrox but it once again begs the question as to whether Clement is the man capable of that.
There is plenty of improvement to be made for Rangers and it needs to come imminently.
In other Rangers news, Clement shared an update on Ridvan Yilmaz after he was ommitted from the Gers squad against Dundee United.
